Chef/Food Services Director

Pacific Grove, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee equipment maintenance, recording keeping and all sanitation activities.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies from approved vendors and maintain good communication with all vendors.
  • Record and maintain adequate food inventory and complete reports as required by Pacifica.
  • Follow all Pacifica dietary policies and procedures and ensure compliance by other food service employees.
  • Train, manage and supervise food service staff, practice time management techniques, and insure the highest possible customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Cooking experience is a must
  • At least 2 years of managerial experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly.
