Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician duties include but are not limited to facilitating the successful physical community operations by performing repairs and maintenance (plumbing, painting, light electrical, light HVAC, etc.) of the property that will promote a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families, and staff. This position will report to the Maintenance Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure completion of work orders.
- Assist with move-in/out details. Prepare/repair rooms for resident use.
- Repair plumbing fixtures
- Repair electrical apparatus
- Repair appliances
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions on floors.
- Perform door removal and installation. Repair door locks and make adjustments.
- Perform wall texturing, painting, wall repairs, and wallpapering.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent certificate and a degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program are preferred.
- Must possess demonstrated success in a similar position.
- May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification and valid Driver’s License.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess basic math-solving skills.
Work Schedule
- Must be available for day and afternoon shifts.
- Must be available weekends.
